Maasai Village, Arusha, Tanzania (March 30, 2008)

The Maasai are nomadic tribesmen who herd cattle across the plains of Kenya and northern Tanzania. They are one of the best known tribal groups of Eastern Africa and are famous for their beautiful beaded body ornaments (necklaces, bracelets, headdresses and earrings), red tartan shukas (blankets) and flamboyant dancing.

Maasai men demonstrate their traditional dance, which primarily consists of chanting and jumping
