On April 1, I went on a sunrise hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti. The view of the plains was spectacular, and the experience of floating through the air suspended by a balloon was unforgettable!

Here I am looking out over the edge of the basket (proof that this is not an elaborate April Fools post). In this photo, we were at our highest point of the flight; at other times, we flew very low to the ground.
